Hello! Wow, HeroesCon was so much fun this year and exhausting. Took me a couple of days to recuperate from it. I guess starting it out with lack of sleep really didn't help either, but I got through it. I was able to get through a good portion of the commissions that I took on, but I still have a stack to get through this week. For those of you that I said I will mail back, I'm working on them as fast as I can. I'm hoping to have them finished up by the end of the week to mail back to everyone. I can't thank everyone enough who came by the table and took a look at our art. We even got some professionals to come by and give us some pretty good feed back. I posted some of the better looking commissions that I did at the show. Sorry they are so blurry, I only had my camera to capture them. If anyone would like to send me scans of any of these please do. I would love to have a better record of them.

Since I was working pretty much the whole time I didn't get to walk around the con like I wanted. Which is probably a good thing since I didn't spend as much money as I usually do. I did however get around to see Dustin Nguyen, where I was able to pick up one of my favorite pictures that he did of all the red haired women of comics and he even did a small head sketch of Batman. I also met a really cool colorist named Rico Renzi, check out his awesome body of work. He commissioned the Batgirl picture (above), which is great because I was able to do some more shading work instead of just coloring it in with markers. I had a good mix of commissions this time around. Well enough talk, need to get back to work. I will post up the pictures as I finish them.
